Q: How Does In-Home Pet Sitting Work?

A: Top Tier Pet Care provides in-home pet sitting and dog walking services in Central Columbus and  Grove City, Ohio.  This means that our pet sitters come to your home to provide pet care (play time, feeding, socialization, etc) and home care services, ranging from our 15-minute visits to 45-minute visits. In addition we offer home care services, where we  attend to mail, lights, trash and plants if you so desire. If you have any special accommodation request, please let us know and we will do our best to help!

Q: There are many Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Businesses in Columbus, Ohio. What sets Top Tier Pet Care apart?

A: As a locally owned and operated pet care company, we cater exclusively to Central Columbus and  Grove City Community. We recognize that each client and pet has his or her own specific requirements and believe that to provide Top Tier service, it is important to pay attention to detail. Focusing on a smaller area within the City allows us to be more flexible with unique schedules, pet and owner needs, last minute requests, and any other needs you and your pets may have.

In a technical world, we aim to bring sense of ease and assurance to customers through unique text or email confirmation after each visit, GPS walk tracking,  secure online payment, and online scheduling.

We specialize in Larger Breed dogs that require an individual that has the ability to keep them safe.

Lastly, we are real pet owners. We love animals and have over twenty years of experience in taking care of our own animals. We love spending time with our animals and new ones. This is not just a job, it is something we love to do and are passionate about.

Q: Do you have references?

A: Yes, Top Tier Pet Care has an in-depth list of clients and references are available upon request.

Q: What are the benefits for my pet?

A: Many services are available such as boarding and kenneling, but why pay to have your pet put in a cage? Chances are, you’re looking for a pet sitter because you feel stressed (and maybe a little guilty) about leaving, whether it’s for a long vacation or for long nights when you’re stuck at the office. You’ll be able to focus on work or actually enjoy time away knowing that your pet is in caring  hands. We’ll reduce your pet’s stress, too, by providing companionship, exercise, and stimulation while you’re away. You’re pet will be the happiest it has ever been!

Q: What types of animals do you care for?

A: We care for dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, small mammals, horses and other domestic animals upon request. Don’t see your companion listed? Contact us and we will let you know if we can help!

Q: Who will be coming to my home?

A: Top Tier Pet Care’s top priority is the safety and security of our clients, their pets, and their property. Our Pet Staffers undergo an extensive screening process before they work with us, including reference checks and formal background checks. We are bonded and insured and all staff members love animals and are passionate about delivering the best care available.

Q: How do I get started?

A: To begin services, we will schedule a pet sitter to come to your home for an initial “Meet and Greet”. We want  to meet your pet, become familiar with your home/routine, and discuss all of the important information about your pet’s needs. This meeting is free of charge and required to ensure we are the best fit for you and your pet. Click on the “Contact Us” tab on the upper right-hand corner to schedule your Meet and Greet!

Q: How and when am I billed?

A: Upon setting up services, an invoice will be provided. Payment is required the day services begin. We accept Cash, Checks, and Secure Payment through PayPal.

Q: What is your Cancellation Policy?

A: We require 48 hour notice of any cancellation and 5 day notice during the Holiday Season. Services not cancelled within these time frames will be charged the invoice amount. Special consideration is given to serious life events.

Q: Do you provide services during the holidays?

A: Yes we do. Please be aware that you will be charged $15 extra per visit during holidays. Holidays include: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Q: Do you keep a key?

A: To protect our customers and ourselves, we have a key retention form. This explains how the key is stored and that it is in no way linked to your home in case it is ever lost. We also are able to pickup and drop off keys for pet sitting services. A $5 charge for pickup and $5 charge for drop off will be added to the invoice.
